Dialog's DA14682 and DA14683 SoCs, Now at Mouser, Enable Secure Low-Power Bluetooth 5 Applications
Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking the SmartBond™ DA14682 and DA14683 Bluetooth® 5 system-on-chips (SoCs) from Dialog Semiconductor. Part of the highly integrated SmartBond family of power-efficient Bluetooth low energy solutions, the new SoCs deliver low power consumption and enhanced security features with industry-leading performance.
The Dialog SmartBond DA14582 and DA14583 Bluetooth 5 SoCs, available from Mouser Electronics, offer designers all the benefits of the DA14586 SoC, but with even greater flexibility to create more advanced applications from the smallest footprints and power budgets. In addition to Bluetooth 5 support, the two devices offer extensive memory capacity and differ only in memory configuration. The DA14683 supports unlimited external flash for maximum design flexibility, while the DA14682 includes 8 Mbits of onboard flash, making it ideal for applications with tight space constraints. The SoCs also feature a dedicated state-of-the-art hardware crypto engine that delivers fast and low-power processing of cryptographic algorithms, while on-chip key storage and manipulation delivers an ideal balance between security and affordability.
Dialog's DA14682 and DA14683 SoCs are ideal for adding Bluetooth low energy mesh networking to asset trackers, cloud-connected products, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, wearables, human-machine interface (HMI) devices, and smart home nodes. The devices are supported by DA14683 development kits and Dialog's SmartSnippets™ software to help engineers optimize software for power consumption.
