Now at Mouser: Microchip ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro Kit with tinyAVR MCU with Large Memory for IoT Sensor Applications
Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking the ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro evaluation kit from Microchip Technology. Designed for rapid prototyping with Microchip's ATtiny3217 8-bit microcontroller, the ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro enables designers to gain access to all the key features of the latest tinyAVR® microcontrollers without the need for external programming tools.
The Microchip ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro, available from Mouser Electronics, accelerates the design process using Microchip's ATtiny3217 8-bit tinyAVR microcontroller. Designed for reliable operation in harsh environments, the ATtiny3217 comes with built-in safety functions to help designers create robust and safe systems. The microcontroller can run up to 20 MHz, and features 32 Kbytes of self-programmable flash, 256 bytes of EEPROM, and 2 Kbytes of SRAM.
The ATtiny3217 also offers a range of peripherals, including a USART, two 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and a Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC) to simplify the development of capacitive touch systems, offering touch interfaces with proximity sensing and a driven shield to ensure touch sensitivity. The ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro board includes two QTouch® buttons, which are self-capacitance buttons that engineers can use as input devices driven by the PTC.
The USB-powered ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro board offers two mechanical user buttons, a yellow user LED, and two Xplained Pro extension headers, as well as access to all of the input and output (I/O) pins and other features of the microcontroller. In addition, the board has an Embedded Debugger (EBDG), which is a USB composite device with a debugger, virtual COM port, and Data Gateway Interface (DGI).
The ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro board is supported by Atmel Studio, an integrated development platform (IDP) that gives designers a seamless and easy-to-use environment for coding, building, simulating, programming, and debugging applications for Microchip microcontrollers. The ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro board is ideal for prototyping designs that support a wide range of applications, including industrial, consumer, home appliances, automotive, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensor nodes.
