Microchip's PIC-IoT WG Development Board, Now at Mouser, Seamlessly Connects Embedded Applications to Google Cloud Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking the PIC-IoT WG Development Board (AC164164) from Microchip Technology. Featuring a PIC microcontroller, Wi-Fi module, and CryptoAuthentication secure element IC, the PIC-IoT WG Development Board offers an ideal launching point for virtually all Internet of Things (IoT) devices and applications.
The plug-and-play development board is suitable for applications including intelligent lighting systems, wireless sensors, and other smart home devices.
The Microchip PIC-IoT WG Development Board, available from Mouser Electronics, enables developers to migrate next-generation PIC microcontroller-based applications to the cloud. The device's low-power PIC24FJ microcontroller is ideal for battery-operated, real-time sensing and control applications, with Core Independent Peripherals supporting complex performance with minimal code and power consumption. The Microchip ATWINC1510 module is a single-band, 2.4 GHz IoT network controller that offers easy Wi-Fi connectivity to Google Cloud. Meanwhile, the ATECC608A CryptoAuthentication device provides secure authentication and is pre-registered for use on the Google Cloud IoT Core and zero touch provisioning.
The PIC-IoT WG Development Board is supported by the Microchip MPLAB® X integrated development environment (IDE), MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) rapid prototyping tool, and an online portal that enables immediate visualization of published sensor data. The Development Board is also compatible with more than 450 MikroElektronika Click boards™ that expand sensors and actuator options.
