The WaveSurfer 3000Z series oscilloscopes by Teledyne Lecroy are 4-channel devices designed to troubleshoot and analyse electronic circuits – both at the prototyping and servicing stage. Here, advanced functionalities meet simplicity of use thanks to the MAUI touch screen.
In terms of parameters, WaveSurfer 3000Z oscilloscopes boast, above all, a high sampling rate (2 Gsps) and memory of up to 10 Mpts, owing to which the device is able to detect even the smallest details in inspected signals. What’s more, the analysis is supported by a large, 10.1” display. Its resolution (1024x600) facilitates simultaneous observation of numerous processes and parameters. Thanks to the WaveScan function, the user can identify promptly the sources of system failures and anomalies in the inspected signal. Moreover, it’s worth emphasising that the oscilloscopes presented here boast input sensitivity ranging from 1 mV/div up to 1 V/div and the time base from 500 ps/div up to 100 s/div (depending on the model). The showcased oscilloscopes work at a frequency of up to 200 MHz (LC-SURFER3104Z) or even up to 1 GHz (LC-SURFER3024Z).
Additionally, the products can also analyse logic states and protocols. Software included in the kit allows for automated work with signals such as AUDIOBUS, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc. The devices also offer a refresh rate of up to 1300 waveforms per second, advanced math capabilities, automatic zoom (for the positioning of cursors) and 24 measurement parameters, as well as the history mode waveform playback. What’s more, the devices feature a function generator with a frequency of up to 25 MHz and a 4-digit multimeter.
